Valspar Color Equality

When people choose to paint a part of their home, it is because they are looking for a fresh start, or a change. Valspar’s #colorequality program is meant to challenge the viewer’s outlook on stereotypes and get them leaning towards a change of heart. This integrated ad campaign uses bright stunning photography paired with simple headlines that give a persona to each color associated with a stereotype. In addition to the print ads, there is a microsite and social media applications that are used so anyone can express what #colorequality means to them. By blending these stereotypical colors together, we blur the lines of inequality.
