The goal of the Play60 campaign is to influence children to pursue a healthier lifestyle by getting at least 60 minutes of exercise each day. However, there are many distractions that tend to win over the mind of a child. This campaign focuses on the technology addictions that children usually choose over outdoor activities. Through this ad campaign, children and parents are reminded that these distractions can become similar to an addiction, and they need to unplug and pull themselves away in order to live a healthier lifestyle.
Dark chocolate is a powerful treat that, when mixed with certain herbs, is known to have psychoactive effects on the brain. Depression and Anxiety are serious illnesses that should not be taken lightly. Unfortunately, when most people think of the people who suffer from these illnesses, they do not consider children. This ad campaign reminds parents that they should be aware of signs associated with anxiety and depression when it comes to children. Each of the four panels represents a piece of a developing story that shows how depression starts out small, but if left untreated, can grow until it consumes a child’s life.

If millennials hate anything more than being politically active, it is missing out. FOMO (or Fear of Missing Out) is a huge motivator for the life experiences in the 18-34 age range. So how do you make the largest generation in the world care about the upcoming general election? By creating the most exclusive, most sought out musical event ever. This team project builds a sense of elitism and mystique around the 58.4% of the millennial age range currently registered to vote and encourages those who are not a part of this group to register so they do not miss out on something great.
When people choose to paint a part of their home, it is because they are looking for a fresh start, or a change. Valspar’s #colorequality program is meant to challenge the viewer’s outlook on stereotypes and get them leaning towards a change of heart. This integrated ad campaign uses bright stunning photography paired with simple headlines that give a persona to each color associated with a stereotype. In addition to the print ads, there is a microsite and social media applications that are used so anyone can express what #colorequality means to them. By blending these stereotypical colors together, we blur the lines of inequality.

Sounds of WFM
There are numerous sounds that take place at work throughout the day, especially in a package design studio. During my fall internship at William Fox Munroe, I observed the sounds that go on throughout the day and compiled them into a vinyl collection. It consists of three vinyls that are separated into sounds that go on in the morning, during the lunch hour, and in the afternoon. Each design is unique and representative of a different era of art and music. That is because the projects that go through WFM and the people who work there are an eclectic and diverse bunch.
